On a split invoice, the customer's advance now pays only the customer's own share. Before, recovering the whole advance could leave the insurer's and customer's shares adding up to more than the invoice. The rest of the advance stays on the order for a later invoice or a refund, and the Advance Payment Recovery card shows how much.
