For a Jordanian service or engineering business, the difficult gap is often between doing the work and becoming entitled to bill it. A completed task may still need customer acceptance, and an approved milestone may remain unbilled because its evidence sits elsewhere.
Start with an acceptance milestone
Use a sample project with three deliverables and a customer review between them. Identify which event permits billing and who records that acceptance. Then delay one review and inspect the effect on the project plan and the billing position.
This scenario separates internal progress from a commercial milestone. It also exposes whether the team has a clear owner for the follow-up.
Keep changes attached to the scope
Add a requested revision and decide whether it is included in the fee. Record the approved decision before changing the plan. Compare the additional cost with the commercial treatment so the project manager and finance team work from the same version.
Include the local invoice workflow
Jordan’s Income and Sales Tax Department provides an official National E-invoicing System and user guidance. Establish the requirements applicable to your business with your advisers and verify the proposed integration separately from ordinary invoice creation.
Ask the provider to demonstrate current coverage, errors and responsibility for ongoing support. This guide does not assert that every local interface is included in a standard subscription.
Test the working languages and reports
Review Arabic and English documents, JOD and other required currencies, project permissions and customer balances. Build a report that distinguishes work completed, milestones accepted, invoices issued and payments received.
Explore Projects & Tasks, Sales & CRM and Report Center. For an Amman implementation, confirm the actual delivery team and support arrangements, then use the sample project as part of acceptance.
